Description
This was taken on a remote section of beach on the Cape Cod National Seashore, accessible only by hiking 1.6 miles over hilly terrain. Every year the coastline of Cape Cod changes, both through natural erosion, but also from the increasingly severe winter storms that have been occurring for the last few years. It's prohibited to be on most of the Cape's dunes now and vegetation is being planted in an attempt to hold them from caving. I hope I'm able to preserve some of the beauty of these dunes at least through my photographs.

Excellent capture, nice angle on the dunes. It sure would be a shame to lose the famous Cape Cod dunes. v/f
