About Michael Friedman
I have my father to thank for my lifelong interest in photography. Even today the smell of 'hypo' brings me back to our basement darkroom. There is a LOT to explore and delight in while visiting your galleries, but this image grabbed me immediately....the graphic designer in me loves the composition and lighting...wonderful!! I do agree with Allen in that I would love to see a version of this in addition, with the stairway darker!
Michael Friedman replied:
Glad you like it, Rory - the lighting of course, is the sunlight coming in the window and I chose to do it in monochrome to emphasize that quality. I'm happy to hear your opinions, so please don't hesitate to give them :)
