Description
Various "small craft" are pulled up above the high-tide line at this beach on Cape Cod Bay. Just in the last decade the high tide line here has moved several yards inland and several houses have had to be moved or removed. Some locations are like the canary in the coal mine, the effects of climate change have been obvious for a while, but at this point I believe it's pretty obvious just about everywhere.

There are signs on the Falmouth beach showing where the tide line will be in a few years, and it's very close to the road. It's changing the flood insurance requirements for home owners blocks back. Very sad. But I love this shot Michael. The colorful boats on the sand are wonderful! l/f!
