Description
Here in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts, the roses begin to bloom around the end of May or the beginning of June. Usually it's one of the nicest times of year with warm days and cool nights, but that's not necessarily the case anymore. The weather patterns have become much less predictable, and those who depend on consistent seasons like farmers, fishermen, resort areas, construction workers and countless others including consumers are adversely affected. Let's all hope that the roses will continue to bloom.
